Preparación del terreno - Land preparation
Para transplantar mis auyamas elegi una parte del terreno libre de arboles ya que las auyamas son muy exigentes a la hora de recibir sol todo el día.
Luego de las plantas tener de 2 a 3 hojas verdaderas transplante mis platitas de auyama, utilizando una distancia de 1 metro entre plantas.
To transplant my pumpkin I chose a part of the tree-free terrain since the pumpkin are very demanding at the time of receiving sun all day.
After the plants have 2 to 3 true leaves I transplant my pumpkin, using a distance of 1 meter between plants.
Fertilización - Fertilization
Antes de realizar el trasnplante preparé el suelo con abono orgánico. Cavé un agujero grande donde las iba a transplantar y lo llené con una mezcla de abono unos días antes.
Before transplanting, I prepared the soil with organic fertilizer. I dug a large hole where I was going to transplant and filled it with a mixture of fertilizer a few days before.
Para la fertilización utilice una formulacion completa de Nitrofosca (12 Nitrogeno-12 Fosforo-17 Potasio) con trazos de otros microelementos que las plantas necesitan como Magnesio , Boro, Zinc y Azufre. Apliqué 15 gramos por planta al momento de la preparacion del terreno.
For fertilization I use a complete formulation of Nitrofosca (12 Nitrogen-12 Phosphorus-17 Potassium) with traces of other microelements that plants need such as Magnesium, Boron, Zinc and Sulfur. I applied 15 grams per plant at the time of the preparation of the land.
Transplante - Transplant
El transplante lo hice en las horas de la tarde, realicé un pequeno aporque alrededor de las plantas y retire las malezas de su alrededor, para evitar competencia por nutrientes.
The transplant was done in the afternoon hours, I made a small hilling around the plants and remove the weeds around them, to avoid competition for nutrients.
Con un total de 16 plantas de auyama, listas y transplantadas , les hago la entrega de mi segundo ciclo, ahora a seguir con los cuidados para la siguiente fase.
With a total of 16 pumpkin plants, ready and transplanted, I make the presentation of my second cycle, now to continue with the care for the next phase.
