South of Thailand is well-known that there are plenty of beautiful beaches. It's unfortunate that my hometown, Phatthalung, does not adjacent to the sea. In the meantime, we are lucky to have a lake, called "Hat Saen Suk Lampam", and we are proud that it's the largest freshwater lake in Thailand. (I posted about this lake a long time ago, if you still remember.)
Hat means beach
Saen - in this case, means "very"
Suk means happy
Lampam is a district
Yeah! Very happy beach!
It's not a white sand beach like other places. The lake looks like a sea, but no big waves. The color of the water is the same as the canal. I can say that it's a very lovely lake where you can spend your times with happiness. It is relaxing and peaceful indeed.
My sister has visited there recently and sent these photos to me to share with you. I'm sorry that there are only a few of them this time.
Anyway, I had good memories of this lake, i.e. I felt very happy every time I went there. Especially, when I was a child, my father often drove our whole family to Hat Saen Suk Lampam and we all had dinner together happily there.
Following are examples of the seafood that we normally love to eat.... (These dishes were from another place and not from that restaurant!)
Yummy!
Yeah! Eating yummy seafood at the lovely lake is the happy moment indeed! ;)
