Chinstrap penguins are cute, adorable and many people simply want to pick them up, stuff them into their bag and take the home. I do believe some people have even attempted to do exactly this but at local city zoos - not so much from the wild these days, which could be due to the fact that they live in a really, really remote region on this earth.
Adorable yet they can be just a tad aggressive at times and out of the penguin species found in the Antarctic areas, which is slightly amusing as they are by far not the largest of the species either. I am not suggesting they waddle their way towards people and simply start attacking but they will peak away at each other and also at other bird species quite aggressively.
Hence, the 5m|15ft distance you must keep away from these animals - you know just in case...
