Penguins are adorable. Simple as that, which is great how an animal can easily bring a smile to most people's faces regardless of how their day is going. One thing you notice about how these guys move when at a breeding rookery is that they will typically follow one another, which can be good and also quite amusing to watch.
This day we were exploring an area in the Antarctic Sound at a place called Brown Bluff, which is actually on the continent of Antarctic herself. These Adelie penguins had to navigate their way through grounded chunks of ice to get to some open coastal water to go foraging, which was cracking me up watching them bunch up nudging each other to keep going forward.
It did mean for some nice viewing from my zodiac, as I don't believe I stopped smiling the entire time I was watching this event and snapped as many photos as I could.
