As I said in the beginning I intended to only post positive things on my site to spread the positive in this world. This post does uphold that ethos; even though being about #Facking and anyone with an ounce of ability too do their own research knows this is very very bad. However what happened today was good I believe!
Gina Downing
Gina is a member of the Green Party (UK) and a county Councillor for Lancashire. I have met her funnily enough on a protest against #Facking at Barton Moss near Manchester. She is a dedicate lady and does work for the good of the people, and she does try hard but obviously comes up against the brick wall of government!
She is an active member of the community and tries to do her best amidst suppression. On the protest she was very kind and even drove people.
Arrested
So today Gina was arrested at the Preston Road #Fracking site. I quote from the paper
A Lancaster county councillor has been arrested and charged following protests at the Preston New Road fracking site.
Green Party County Coun Gina Dowding, 54, of Aldcliffe Road, Lancaster has been charged with obstructing a public highway and “Section 241 Trades Union Act offences”.
What is rather amusing if the fact she is being charge with obstruction of the highway, well possibility maybe ... NO! Its a drive way into a industrial site; so technically is private and not highway. This happened at Barton Moss, and was raised then the Lancashire police took away the sign saying public bridleway in an effort to pervert the course of justice. Only to have the judge literally laughed it out of court as it was not a public highway, comical.
But even more amusing is a charge for intimidation yes that's right intimidation I mean look at the picture... does she look intimidating to you?
The Positive
So the positive side of the story is that a county councilor is serving her constituents! She is standing up against our ruling regime who have gone against the council twice, on the second time taking away their power to make such a decisions. To have someone in office (I use that term lightly, and because its how they describe it) standing up for and with the people is a great achievement; I think Gina deserves this credit. To have people on the inside breaking down the control is a massive positive, maybe its what we need, maybe more will follow, I hope so!
Now I disagree with the ruling elite, they telling us what will happen in our lives who gave them the right to disrupt my freedom. But as I am currently battling this within myself, I admit I did vote in the elections (For "oh Jeremy Corbyn"). This was mainly a vote on my part to get that Tory regime out! However it didn't work, maybe it was a last ditched attempt on my part to have some faith in our nation to stand against what the media are trying to convince us is truth. Maybe I believe #Corbyn in fact yes I do I believe him he is a good person. But I also believe that fact if he did get in power the shadow goverment would over power him and nothing would change, I also believe he would fight and hopefully expose some of the lies, before they took him down!
Anyways I have digressed again. My point being that having Gina stand up shows she cares and hopefully it will be an example to others on the council and government. They are humans who care (well most of them) that are being suppressed, this is their chance to shine and join humanity. The hundredth monkey is nearly awoken and soon they will start to speak out.
So here's to Gina Dowding you should be proud!
