Hey fellow Steemians,
I took another short break away from my laptop and internet for a few days, that's because I went to visit my old friends in upper Savinjska valley, took my snowboard with me and we got fresh package of snow.
Woke up early in the morning on Friday, got ready, packed everything and we got on top of Golte at 9.30. It was a foggy, snowy and windy day, but had lots of fun and practise for me because that for, the skiing resort was almost empty and we didn't need to wait not even a minute.
But it was hard to get any good shots with my phone.
Needed about two runs to get back used to the harder snow, but after few tips from a friend I got the hang of it and was able to make many fastest runs ever, without a fall.
As I mentioned the skiing resort was almost empty and we were able to make more runs in 3 hours than your able to do in whole day on a busy weekend.
We also went threw the woods with fresh powder. Over 10 centimeters of snow fell in those 4 hours we were snowboarding.
The fog slowly started to go away, but clouds were there to stay.
Then a short break was needed.
And off we went for few more rides, actually they were kind enuf to let us take 4 more rounds after our cards timed out. :)
I forgot to take my Santa hat with me. :)
Then it was time to slide our way back to our car and go back home. We really had amazing time sowboarding almost alone on the skiing resort, got lots of experience, tryed out new stuff and was able to make few downhill runs without falling and at much greater speeds than last time I visited a skiing resort.
Golte is also where I learned how to snowboard around 5 years ago with a good old friend of mine that used to be a snowboarding trainer up there and several beers for about a week.
