Some time ago I found an article on an online blog about photography of frozen flowers and I thought it was really beautiful so I had to try it myself and in spring I collected several flowers that I froze in the freezer. And I have to admit that I want to do it again since I think the results were pretty nice. And it is also a little bit of experimental since depending on how you freeze the water it is more or less transparent. I learned if you boil water before freeezing it doesn't develop so many bubbles, but a completely flawless ice is also very boring, so you probably need a combination of normal water frozen and boiled water that went into the freezer after the boiling. I still need to experiment a bit with different settings and I hope this spring I have some time to do so.
