Growing roses is one of the most rewarding gardening projects there is. They follow their own rules and need special grooming but having them in any garden can bring all sorts of great pollenating helpers to all the other plants that need a little assistance throughout the season.
Having beautiful long stem roses around the house is especially nice when you have a big family with pets let me tell you. They don't stop being useful for decorations and feeding the bees, the endless uses in potpourri; incense; oils; waters and seltzers as well as tons of arts and crafts. Let me know if you guys want any recipes in the comments and I'll get right back. :)
Remember those pear blossoms I showed off in the Spring?
They sure are coming out! I'm going to get a ton of fruit off my main tree and even a few off my mate tree.
Check out what those wonderful peach blossoms turned into.
They're really shy but if you look close you can see them hiding in there. I still only have the one peach tree but that's the wonder of having the right mix of flowers blooming at the right times throughout the growing seasons and other gardeners in the neighborhood with healthy peach trees helps too ;).
Speaking of help! It's never to early to get the young ones involved lol.
Thanks for reading everyone! I hope I helped put a few smiles on some faces out here today ;)
