The Portland Trail Blazers defeated the Golden State Warriors, 122-112. Damian Lillard scored 31 points, 5 rebounds and 13 assists for the Portland Trail Blazers, while CJ McCollum added 30 points and 5 rebounds in the victory. With the Trailblazers victory against the shorthanded Golden State Warriors, they improved to 12-16 win-loss record and are now in the 9th position in terms of standings in the Western Conference only behind to the 8th place Sacramento Kings. Meanwhile for the losing team, D’Angelo Russell scored 26 points and 7 assists for the Golden State Warriors, while Glenn Robinson III added 17 points and 4 rebounds. The Western Conference looks awful this season they are the exact scenario to what happened to the Eastern Conference years ago wherein those teams that are in sixth up to eight position is having less than 0.500 win-loss record. Anyways, maybe this is just an off year for the Western Conference teams, but this season is a bit more balanced as compared to the previous two years.
