The current NBA transfers were all in controversy. There are so much heavy transfers that has happened in the NBA in summer. From Kyrie | Durant tandem, to Davis | James, Doncic | Porzingis, Leonard | George, and Westbrook | Haden being reunited once again in Houston.
Well, all of them are truly interesting. But what interests me the most is the Russel Westbrook - James Harden tandem. Why? Mainly because both of them wants to handle the ball. Let's see how this confusion result at the start of the season.
Looking at their press conference, pictorials, and practices, it seems that the duo are happy together. They look smiling and exciting. Each of them has received Most Valuable Player award, so no doubt about their talent. Again, they seem to be in cohesion with each other.
I'm just kinda worried with how they will manage to get the handle of the ball. I'm sure Westbrook should get it because he's in a point guard position. James Harden is normally a shooting guard. However since he went to Houston, his position is switching from pos 1 - 2. Given these facts, it will likely that James Harden's time holding the ball will be lowered.
The duo is also battling in triple double. Both are capable in scoring points, creating chances for their teammates, and also their defense. This also adds a little confusion and complexity with their game style. For sure, these duo are also after for stats as a sideline from the title chase.
