Happy #NeedleWorkMonday everyone!! I was able to get my scarf out and around a tree last week to complete our Community Project #2 ’Project Warm A Soul’. My whole family was with me and my children were excited about what I was doing. They were like “so you’re just gonna leave it there for someone?” “Wow mom that’s so nice of you!” 😄 It was a very good talk about giving. Then my daughter asks,
but what if someone takes it that doesn’t really need it?
I told her all we can do is hope and pray that it ends up in the hands of someone in need. I explained to her that someone may personally know someone to give it to and that would be okay if they took it to them.
I decided to use my stash yarn for this project and ended up running out of orange. So I found this multi-colored yarn I had that still had neutral colors in it and attached it on both ends. I’m happy with the results but most importantly I know it will keep someone warm :)
Here are some pics I took before leaving it on the tree...
Then more of the tree pics...
I know a few of you are still working on getting your scarves out! I thank you for joining me in using your skills to give~ ❤️
All photos are my own and were taken with our Cannon EOS Rebel T6.
Thank you for Viewing! I’m looking forward to seeing what you all share today!
