Woohoo! This is my first time joining Needlework Monday in Steemitmamas. Other days I just tagged #needlework.
Alright, in the previous post, I talked about my dress being cut short. Here's the result of my pregnant dress makeover! 😉😊😳 From a long dress and an elbow-length sleeves,
It is now shorter in length and the sleeves were trimmed. Dress was complete after consuming 3 hours (measuring, cutting and hand sewing).
I am a UK-size 16. Later I will wear it to outing.
ALL the loose buttons are now tightened. This dress had beautiful buttons with daisies, can't lose that.
After trimming the sleeves, I folded in and made a chain stitch around the sleeves so that it looked more refined.
Then, the fabrics that I cut out. I made into two bags!
Horizontal Bag
I consumed about 3 hours to make this too, cutting and sewing, on last Tuesday.
Vertical Bag
I made this in 2 hours. Today.

I started using my first bag, the horizontal bag yesterday at the 99 Speedmart buying oatmeal pack, coffee and some veggies. Man~ I was so proud! I was doing something for Mother Nature. One less plastic bag.
