I made a sample knitted square on my knitting machine a few weeks back and I left it unfinished. I have skipped a couple of needlework posts because I forgot about it or because I was away from home.
When I realized that it was Monday again, I looked around for something that I could write about and remembered that I had an unfinished small project. At first, I thought that I would turn it into a small hat with a side seam. It wasn't large enough in circumference so I thought about a cozy for something.
I looked at my water bottle, but that didn't make since because my water bottle doesn't "sweat." Then I thought about a bottle of wine since my wine is usually carried around in a paper bag.
It's not cute, but it is functional. It has a side seam that is not pretty because I didn't take my time with it, but I just didn't want to have another unfinished project involving yarn stuck in the closet. Now I can stick this cozy in the cabinet near the wine. 😃
