Happy #NeedleworkMonday, all!
Hope all of you are doing great.
Iβm still working on my tank top, and should finally get to the sleeve portion this week. I did not take a photo of my progress because I was moving quickly this morning so I would not be late for the job. What I may do is do another post this week to show my progress on my tank top.
I need your help for my next project.
As I shared a couple of weeks ago, my coworker will be retiring on 17 August this year. I would like to make her something special that she can use for her jewelry business. She and her best friend are doing an amazing job making things for friends and for boutiques. I found these three things that I think are really cute and functional, but I donβt have the time to make all three of these.
A) A set of baskets in which to keep her finished products, or to use to store items for making her jewelry.
B) A travel size project holder. She mentioned that she would be spending more time with her mom when she retires and she would take her jewelry over to her momβs house to work while they visit. If she does more visiting than designing, then this might work well for the smaller projects.
C) A lapghan. I know, I know - I have already complained how hot it is getting here in Alabama. Today we are going to be 91 degrees Fahrenheit (32.8 degrees Celsius), and we usually hit around 105 degrees Fahrenheit (40.6 degrees Celsius) in the later days of Summer. This lapghan would be for the winter months (December - early March).
I think all of these are cute and would work for her, but I just cannot decide. (If I played darts, I could just throw a dart and do the one that it hit, but Iβd probably hurt someone - lol). Besides, it is more fun when others help choose!
So, which do you like best - A, B, or C?
I appreciate you all!
