Most of you will know it by now: On Valentine's Day it was announced that Steemit Inc. was acquired by Justin Sun of Tron. There are Tweets etc. from the Tron owner (some of them contradictory, some already deleted), he has an account here and made posts (
Einerseits: Nur Steemit Inc. wurde verkauft (dazu gehört z. B. das Entwicklerteam und eine Menge an STEEM und SP). Nicht die Blockchain, nicht die anderen Anwendungen, von Steempeak über Dtube bis zu Splinterlands. Und schon gar nicht der Needleworkmonday!
On the one hand: Only Steemit Inc. was sold (that does include the developer team and a lot of STEEM and SP). Not the Blockchain, not the other independent applications, from Steempeak to Dtube to Splinterlands. And certainly not the Needleworkmonday!
Auf der anderen Seite: Ohne die Steemit Inc., ihre Entwickler und Dienste hat diese Blockchain einige große Hindernisse (wie Nodes oder auch nur wie man Bilder für Posts speichert) zu überwinden. Und Justin Sun hat genug STEEM und SP, um seine eigenen Witnesses in die Top 20 zu wählen - damit könnte er jede gewünschte Änderung an der Blockkette vornehmen. Er sagte am Freitag, er würde das nicht tun, aber er ist ein Geschäftsmann...
On the other hand: Without Steemit Inc., its developers and services, this blockchain has some major roadblocks (like nodes or how to store images) to work around. And Justin Sun has enough STEEM and SP to vote his own witnesses into the top 20 - with that he could make any change to the blockchain he wants. He said on Friday he wouldn't do that, but he's a business man...
Aber es ist auch eine Chance für Steem: Viele TRON-Benutzer haben gerade erst von dieser Blockchain gehört. Versuchen wir, sie an Bord zu holen! Diejenigen von uns, die in anderen sozialen Medien aktiv sind, lasst uns die Initiative ergreifen und sie willkommen heißen, bieten wir an, sie zu informieren und zu zeigen, warum Steem eine faszinierende Sache ist!
But it is a chance for Steem, too: A lot of TRON users just heard about this blockchain. Let's try to onboard them! Those of us active on other social media, let's reach out and welcome them, offer them to inform them why Steem is a fascinating thing!

That brings me to the next part of my post: Please, keep your Witness votes up to date (unvote inactive witnesses etc.) or use a proxy you trust. Like in the picture at the top - one little thread can't hold anything, all of them together make a strong rope!

Ich habe gelesen, dass heute der "Random Acts of Kindness Day" (=Tag der zufälligen Freundlichkeit) ist (zumindest in den USA). Ich hatte noch nie davon gehört, also habe ich etwas recherchiert, einige Blogs gelesen und mein Fazit daraus:Übertragen wir das auf jeden Tag!
I read that today is the "Random Acts of Kindness Day" (at least in the USA). Never heard of it before, so I did some research, read some blogs and the bottom line of most: Let's transfer that to every day!
Schon ein Lächeln oder eine freundliche Begrüßung kann jemandem den Tag verschönern - lasst uns unser Leben und unsere Welt aufhellen und verbessern, eine kleine Geste nach der anderen!
Just a smile or a friendly greeting can brighten someone's day - let's improve our lives and our world one RACK at a time, be it online or in "real life" :)
