... I tried out my hand at crochet. Since I was new to knitting and crocheting, I wanted to figure out which I enjoyed more. So, I crocheted a huge shawl following a free pattern. It is safe to say that I am definitely a knitter.
A few things I learnt from and am appreciative of this project:
- The recommended yarn weight/yarn fiber is probably the right one,
- Crochet is a sophisticated manipulation of yarn, and
- There are some (very) talented designers providing their patterns for free
