Good evening to all! This time, I will show you my crocheted wallet. The pink one is a long forgotten crochet work for more than a decade already. I saw it among my 'unfinished' works in my box. Since I have nothing to do, I looked for another available color as a combination of the pink one. It's supposed to be a pouch but I decided to make a mini-wallet instead.
After making the final round, I chose a 16-inch zipper. Guys, you only need one side of the zipper when you make a wallet.
The reason is that when there's no end and the center when you push the slider or when you close it, there's no tendency for the slider to be detached, right?
You can do the basting stitch with a crochet thread or a nylon thread to make it more durable.
Then do the hemming stitch down the edge to make a neat looking finish.
Insert each runner on each hole of the slider, pushing it lightly. Take note: the slider should be facing forward.
See that, there's no end at the center when you close your wallet!
Then pull the slider back and close the entry by sewing it then push the tail down to make a clean finish.
You may tie a little cord for easier push and to enhance it's beauty.
Now that's the finished product! You can make a silk or thin lining to make it more presentable when you open your wallet and an additional small pocket within could be useful as well.
Thanking my co-needleworkers for visiting my posts and to my upvoters. It's highly appreciated. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
