I woke up this morning to find that my NEO coins and GAS tokens had increased in value by over 40%. While this was a positive way to begin my day, my inner skeptic began questioning why this had occurred. I immediately went to coinbase and cointelegraph to see what major news event I had slept through. I could not find any relevant information to support this price increase.
I turned my attention to twitter and soon found this post, posted by Malcolm Lerider and later retweeted by @NEONews 8 hours ago.
There are a few translations online, but essentially the NEO team are planning to make a big announcement in three days time.
What do you guys think? Given that NEO trading has been quite flat over the last month or so, is this price action sustainable? Do you think the FOMO investors will get burned after the announcement is made?
