Hello everyone, how is your week going? Mine is cool and going fine, blessed with beautiful memories. One of these things is having people around me gaining from me especially my students, this is my life as a teacher.
As the term is gradually coming to an end, teachers trying so hard to complete their work before going on the holiday. The students particularly are happy to be free from school activities and just want to play with their mates
I don't blame them because they have spent 13 weeks in school, waking up early to meet up with assembly, and avoiding being punished for coming late to school, not forgetting those that have to catch up with the school bus, adhering to the school rules and regulations and still go back home with various assignments and projects to be sorted out. They have worked so hard as well on their tests and examination.
It is not an easy task , I understand the stage which we have all pass through.
Teachers have been busy too with school activities, going to classes to teach their various subjects, marking and writing lesson notes, setting examination questions, marking it and trying to record the scores and making sure there
are no errors
Now the students have time to play different games, gather around themselves and mix up, this is very good for them and it gives them this sense of belonging, having people around apart from your family in form of friends and playmates
Since class activities have reduced, extracurricular activities were chipped in
It's not much of a work, the extracurricular activities are in form of debates by choosing students from the different classes to either support or oppose a topic, then quiz questions were picked from their core subjects, and football too or any game of their choice, there is freedom.
All these have been completed and everyone looks forward to vacation day, so that we can rest and have time for the Easter celebration.
