Did you Say Sunrise
Well we were up for the sunrise, but it was MEH... no sun, it was a cloudy day so I didn't take any photos. No regrets, still first in line for Coffee and Rolls from Starbucks.... CAFFIENE!!
Another walk by the falls - Nice morning walk
We took another nice walk along the falls. Took the time to read the informational plaques, and enjoy the falls early in the morning, without any crowds. It was a little cold and the mist from the falls carried a long ways in the wind. Made it pretty cold and wet in the morning, which kept many people sleeping in their beds instead of taking in the scenery
.
Table Rock Information
More good Photos of the Falls
More informational plaques.
I like they have these all around. Its good for quick break in walking to read some history and spur more conversation once you start walking again.
Raptor Run Mini Golf
The kids were super happy to see that the previously closed Raptor Run Mini golf actually opened now that the snow had melted overnight. We walked the mile down to the tourist trap area and happily forked over cash to play some put put..
The kids had a blast, and ol senstless here managed to get several hole in ones. I would love to claim it is skill based, and I did play a little golf in my youth, it was mostly just dumb luck. Soon my kids will be able to put without hitting it hard or rushing it and soon I will have a real challenge.
There were a few holes that I got outplayed by everyone, and once I did just pick up the ball.. I hate the 360 degree ramp with the hole in the middle.
There were some pretty big and impressive dinosaurs that were part of the landscape. I took photos of a few of my favorite. I assume this place is loved by kids 10 and under, especially the younger ones
Niagara Falls In Heavy Fog
Since it was our last night in Canada, before we tried to go across the border and go back to the US we wanted to walk the falls in the dark. Interestingly the night started to get foggy and really made the falls look cool with how the lights show up inbetween the shore and the falls.
Looks like a massive dance party
that makes it look like the DJ is up there right under the lights... someone let the fog machine on high,
