It has been said that it takes 21-days to get into a habit. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 lockdown has led many to bad habits. When the lockdown ends, so should our bad habits.
A habit is essentially a pattern of behavior. It can be good or bad.
Porn use, alcohol and junk food consumption, domestic violence and gambling all have increased by fair measure during the lockdown. The presence of unhealthy food and drink to consume with lots of downtime led to this.
How do we lose a bad habit? The same way we got it. Take time to shed the habit by adopting good behaviors.
We need to taper off some habits like drinking and go cold Turkey like problem gambling. Ask a professional if you need help, be proactive and move on.
