Hello Everyone!
This is my first blog after my introduction and I am so excited to share my California trip experience with you!
First, let me tell you alittle bit about how I decided to take this trip.
I use to go to The University of Central Florida where I was lucky enough to have my two best friends as roommates. Months before this trip we were all in a relationship and knew spring break was arriving. We had no idea what to do for it since the whole school was basically going on a cruise, we wanted to do something different! Well unfortunately, a couple days before spring break we all happened to become single and thought of doing a girls trip somewhere spontaneous! So why not California? Each of us had never been so we did not know really where to stay or what to do which became little stressful. One of my best friend's cousins lived there and offered us a place to stay for the trip. CHA-CHING
That saved us hundreds of dollars. So we looked up exciting things to do and booked our flight and off we went!
When we first arrived at 1 in the morning the first thing we did was get In- N- Out Burger! which is a crucial pit spot to anyone taking a trip out West. It was delicious and I think they need to start opening over here for our East Coasters' ;)
We were only there for 4 days but in those days we accomplished so much sight seeing of beautiful mountains in Malibu to going on rides on the Santa Monica Pier. We went the 3rd week in March and during the day it was beautiful 80 degree days but at night it was FREEZING with temperatures in the 40's and 50's.
I went to tons of different restaurants and local food trucks that had such authentic and amazing food! There's nothing like it!
One morning we even went to the famous California Donuts and had unique treats!
My favorite day was walking on Hollywood Boulevard and seeing all of the stars. It was one of the most rememberable experiences because that street is so iconic and knowing all of those icons on the stars have walked that street just like I did was unforgettable.
If any of you have watched No Strings Attached with Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher you should remember the fight they had in the lights at the Los Angeles Museum. It was such a cool experience!
This is been one of my favorite trips I have ever taken and one of the most memorable. If any of you are thinking about taking a trip to California it is 100% worth it and I hope this blog helped you get excited!
See you in my next blog!
