I'm new to steem and just getting started to learn it's functionality
As a long time crypto enthusiast, i've been following the technology for a while, and always looking for new blockchain based applications.
Steem looks to be a great tool for bloggers and i'm excited to start exploring it!
As i understand it right now, it's a sort of reddit, but with money instead of upvotes, correct?
One thing i don't get yet is where the money comes from that is given as reward for votes. Is it mined, or should i deposit a certain amount of funds first before allocating it to my likes?
