Everytime you were asked to answer a survey, do you really spend time in answering them correctly? Or do just you answer them in random? Or you don't really care at all?
I am working in a Customer Sevice environment for many years now and everyday is always a learning for me.
Major part of our lives is to make sure that we provide excellent customer service.
We all know the importance of providing the best customer service to all and understand its impacts to the business.
However, there are scenarios where customers doesn't really care about it at all.
What the customer don't understand is the amount of work that people do to analyze data and understand how to improve customer service, the many sleepless nights, the discussion in war rooms and many more action plan to improve.
Customer don't understand the impact to agents if they answer it incorrectly, the emotional and stress it gives to people when they are trying to do what is best but still were not given the correct score they deserve. How it impact ones live as a whole which includes their health and work balance and especially their families.
I've seen many surveys that were answered incorrectly and were very sad to see those employees crying and a lot of times feeling stress because they did their best but resulted to wrong score in the survey.
Dont get me wrong, as a customer myself,I wanted to be treated well and address my concern efficiently and the only way for me to help the agents improve their service is if Im being true to my score in the survey.
This will help them create an action based on the true datta and customers sentiments thus will result to more effective way on how we can build a World Classs Customer Service centric.
Soon you maybe ask to answer a survey again, I hope I was able to share a small fraction of how it impacts everything in custoner service and we can only do it right if you as a customer do it right too.
