My first post here.
Apparently my first post that can also never be altered, never be edited, never be deleted, and will go down in the history books for eons as my "first stupid question asked on steemit."
Holy crap. What a load of responsibility.
...placed on an extremely irresponsible person.
Is it true that there is no way to edit or delete due to blockchain technology. (?)
If so: I "get it."
But I don't like it.
Scares me quite a bit.
Our (my) thoughts/opinions/stances on topics can and do change from time to time.
My opinion: I'd gladly relinquish upvotes, steem, (anything earned in any way) to have those options available.
Return the upvotes to the upvoters, return any benefits to the system.
It would be a challenge to give up those benefits at times, but I'd accept them for the option to edit/delete.
Any insights welcome. Obviously plenty of people ARE posting and are ok with permanency.
Wow.
Still very new to this, still have to post an introduction, but dreading this dire "forever stuck with" post proposition I'm up against.
...like with this "stupid question" post.
That will apparently never, ever, ever, ever, ever leave the system. Nor can I ever ever ever ever edit it, even if I spel something rong.
Thanks for insights.
