Okay, so I'm going to make this quick.
I want to write a post a day, if possible. Sometimes that's going to be easier than other other times.
Today's Monday and so a work day. By 9 am I'll be flying out the door, daughter in tow, whizzing her round the corner to school and then off I'll zoom to Limerick where I work.

I'm lucky because I don't have to start until 10 am and so I get a relatively easy start to each day, but at the same time I would much prefer to be sitting at my laptop and learning more about the ins and outs of this new world I have discovered that is powered UP by Steem.
I'm 10 days old today and still finding my feet. Unlike on earth, there appears to be no gravity here on the Steemiverse, so I am having to learn which way is up.
Thankfully, I have been super duper lucky and found me some friends. I know, already, right?
Do you remember how it was back when you were teeny tiny in the playground and some of the big kids took a shine to you and began to look after you and maybe played a little too, well, it's a bit like that.

I wish I had more time to write this morning, but then again possibly it's good that I don't. I think I could become quite gushing and well, we wouldn't want that now would we?
Anyways, I have lots of lovely steemians to thank for being so incredibly welcoming, helpful and just dear dear people.
welcomed me on my very first post 'People Watching' and then amazingly responded to my reply. A dialogue began. It was great. The powerful feeling of connection began. You know that feeling when your heart feels pulled in a new direction? It's special.
Through their help I made my way to Steem Savvy.

And then Discord.
Here I joined two groups, Partiko and the Steemit Ramble. And boy oh boy! Did this open up the world of Steem to me?
There's lots for me to say, but unfortunately very little time...
Right now, I just want to thank the Steemit Ramble folks for being so awesome ( you rock!
you do too). You have made me feel so very welcome.
I was that little kid in the playground, a little bit scared of everything, not knowing what to do and not knowing anyone.
Now, I'm still that little kid but I've got a gang of bigger kid friends who are all looking out for me.
It's like I've grown and become a giant little kid. My smile is beaming. My heart is being pulled.
It sure feels good.
Right, now it's time to get on getting on.
Hope I'm not going to be late!
