Overwhelming Success
Our first partnership agreement went really really well. We got 41 participants to enter (below 46 Reputation score). Most of these "newbies" didn't play

First, its a win for steemit to get the newbies to learn how to earn money and gain friends through social interaction on these games/contests/challenges. "Engagement" is the biggest reason for success here.
Second, its a win for the contestants (especially the newbies, because they not only got their comments upvoted and earned money, they also got a prize from #newbieresteemday as a bonus.
Third, its a win for the gamemaker of Steemit Comment Challenge
Fourth, its a win for #newbieresteemday and to get the word out about our program. We want to help the newbies and our members, and the best way to do that is to have success stories like this. We partnered up with an experienced "gamemaker" and we were able to do more with the partnership than we ever could've done by ourselves.

The total payout from #newbieresteemday went a little higher than we planned $3.65 SBD vs. $2.50 SBD (due to the explosive uptake of so many players), but it is important to teach and reward newbies with even small prizes in order to help to them understand. I consider this a success and it is going to lead to ever better things ahead! (like this week coming up!!!) :D
The Week Ahead
I will post a few more times than usual today to prepare everyone for the week we have planned. I won't go into many details here so that I don't overwhelm people with information. But I will say that it will be an exciting week for many many people that pay attention. We will have a tremendous opportunity together to build and strengthen each other.
Key word here is to pay attention. So many people just read something and move on. I strongly suggest that you watch for my posts that are coming out today and tomorrow. It will be an opportunity to really learn some new things, meet some cool and awesome people, and oh yeah... build up your account and make some $ in the process.
