BANDA ACEH - The Jatanras Polda Aceh team in cooperation with Sat Reskrim Polres Pidie succeeded in uncovering the abduction case against Abdullah bin Ahmad (46) of Gampong Gahru residents, Bandar Dua Subdistrict, Pidie Jaya.
As reported, Abdullah was kidnapped on Tuesday 12 May at his home. A number of people came to his house by car and immediately took Abdullah to the north of Aceh.
After being kidnapped, the victim's wife, Nur Hajjah, made a report to Polres Pidie with LP / 09 / V / Res.1.5 / 2018 / SPKT number. Based on the report, the team of Sat Reskrim Polres Pidie assisted Jatanras Polda Aceh conduct investigations and attempt to uncover the case.

However, he said, the results of initial interrogation, Abdullah kidnapped for alleged by the perpetrators as intelligence or information National Narcotics Agency (BNN).
It is probable that this case has something to do with the drug syndicate, but Sumarso is not sure.
The result of the initial interrogation, that the victim was said to be intel BNN. So after we go through this fear, the perpetrators are indeed drug users. But we are not deeply into whether they are what drug syndicates are not, Sumarso said.
In the case of the kidnapping, the kidnappers also threatened to kill the victim if they did not send the money the perpetrator requested.
Initially Sumarso said, the perpetrator asked for ransom as much as Rp 110 million, but the family was unable to fulfill it.
The perpetrator then re-contacted the family and threatened to kill Abdullah if he did not send the requested money. Then sent money of Rp 50 million through BRI's account on behalf of Ali Hasan, said Kombes Pol Sumarso.
After being transferred, the perpetrator also has not released the victim. "Even the family was threatened again, so it sent another Rp 32 million, it was not yet released," he said.
