BEIRUT, LEBANON (8:30 P.M.) - The jihadist-led Hay'at Tahrir Al-Sham group has allegedly captured a major town in western Aleppo, today, after launching a big attack in western Aleppo.
According to local activists via social media, Hay'at Tahrir Al-Sham captured the Turkish-backed rebel stronghold of Dart Izza after a fierce battle this evening.
The activists claimed that Hay'at Tahrir Al-Sham seized Dart Izza after breaking through Harakat Nouriddeen Al-Zinki's defenses at their west Aleppo stronghold.
In addition to allegedly capturing Dart Izza, Hay'at Tahrir Al-Sham has seized at least two towns and several points in western Aleppo.
This large-scale attack by Hay'at Tahrir Al-Sham was carried out in response to the death of five of their fighters over the weekend.
Hay'at Tahrir Al-Sham accused Harakat Nouriddeen Al-Zinki of killing their five fighters near Dart Izza.
