BEIRUT, LEBANON (1:00 P.M.) - The Lebanese Parliament reelected the veteran leader of Harakat Amal, Nabih Berri, as Speaker of Parliament, Al-Mayadeen TV reported this afternoon.
According to the Al-Mayadeen report, Berri received 98 votes and was unrivaled for the position.
Berri has held the position of Speaker of Parliament for several years, making him one of Lebanon's most experienced politicians.
