BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:00 A.M.) - Hay'at Tahrir Al-Sham claimed on Sunday that their forces had arrested several former Syrian Arab Army (SAA) soldiers that defected to the Free Syrian Army (FSA) during the first years of the war.
According to the jihadist group, Hay'at Tahrir Al-Sham captured 16 defected Syrian Army soldiers that were attempting to escape to the government's lines near the Abu Dhuhour Airport in the southeastern countryside of the Idlib Governorate.
No further details were released by the jihadist group.
