DAMASCUS, SYRIA (8:00 A.M)- Israeli citizens gathered this Tuesday to celebrate the burning to death of a 18-month old Palestinian baby, later that day an Israeli court also decided that the admitted murderers would not be convicted.
Back in 2015 (on the 15th of July), Israeli settlers wielding molotov cocktails, attacked the Dawabsheh household in the West Bank village of Duma. The doors to the family home were barricaded off, to insure that the family of four would not survive and the house was firebombed. During the attack, 18 month old Ali Dawabsheh was burnt to death in his cot, dying almost instantly. Ali's mother Riham and father Saad later died of their injuries. The sole survivor of the incident was Ahmed Dawabsheh, who suffered 3rd degree burns to 85% of his body. Later, Israeli settlers invaded the burnt Dawabsheh household, spraying tags on the wall in Hebrew.
Since the attack, both the grandfather (Hussein Dawabsheh) of little Ahmed Dawabsheh and his uncle have been the victims of attempted arson attacks.
On Tuesday the court case to prosecute the murderers, drew crowds of Israeli citizens who taunted the Grandfather of the soul surviver (Ahmed) of the attack. Israeli's were recorded in a video shouting such things as "Ali is on the grill" and "Where is Ali? Where is Saad? Where is Riham? It's too bad Ahmed didn't burn to hell too". The crowd of Israeli's danced in joy as they sang of killing the Dawabsheh family.
Israeli settlers admitted - in 2015 - to murdering three members of the Dawabsheh family, yet an Israeli court on Tuesday decided that the testimonies are no longer valid because the Israeli Shin Bet - Special Police Forces - had possibly used torture interrogation techniques to obtain that information. Now that the testimonies are devoid, this could mean that there will be no conviction of the two admitted murderers.
