BEIRUT, LEBANON (11:30 A.M.) - Jaysh Al-Islam turned in their heavy weapons to the Russian military police this week, fulfilling their last obligation prior to their departure from the eastern Qalamoun town of Dumayr.
The militant group handed over a large quantity of heavy weapons, which included several anti-tank guided missiles (ATGM), RPGs, machine guns, and mortar launchers.

More than 1,500 Jaysh Al-Islam fighters have now departed from Dumayr, alongside 5,000 of their family members.
