BEIRUT, LEBANON (5:55 P.M.) - The Saudi Coalition continued their offensive in northern Yemen, today, targeting the Houthi defenses inside the Sa'ada Goverorate.
According to pro-Saudi media, the Coalition troops managed to score a new advance inside the Baqim District of Sa'ada on Monday after overrunning the Houthi defenses near the border-crossing.
Backed by Saudi airstrikes, the Coalition troops were able to capture several building blocks after the Houthi forces fell back towards the district-center.
This new advance in the Sa'ada Governorate comes just 24 hours after the Saudi Coalition scored a big advance inside the Baqim District.
The Sa'ada Governorate has long been under the control of the Houthi forces; they took hold of it after Spring 2015 offensive.
