BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:20 A.M.) - The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) seized a large cache of weapons that were left behind by the rebel forces at the Nassib Crossing in Daraa.
According to a report from the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), the rebel forces left behind a wide variety of weapons, including armored vehicles, missiles, and a large quantity of ammunition.
As shown in the video below, the Syrian Army seized this large cache of weapons after they entered the area and imposed control over the Nassib Crossing:
Since retaking the Nassib Crossing, the Syrian Army has worked to secure the area around the border, while also bringing in engineering units to clear the mines and explosives planted by the rebel forces.
In addition to this, the Syrian Army has begun to move their elite Tiger Forces to another front in order to continued their southwest Syria offensive.
The Syrian Army is now preparing to launch their long-awaited offensive to capture the southern districts of the provincial capital.
With the strategic town of Al-Naimah under the control in the eastern countryside of the Daraa Governorate, the Syrian Arab Army is in prime position to attack the provincial capital from two different axes.
