BEIRUT, LEBANON (2:00 P.M.) - The Syrian military seized this week a large quantity of weapons that were left behind by the Islamist rebels in the Daraa countryside.
According to a military source in Daraa, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) uncovered a large weapons warehouse that was located inside the city Tafas, which is located near the provincial capital.
The source said that the Syrian Arab Army confiscated several assault rifles, artillery shells, RPGs, machine guns, and ammunition boxes.
The Syrian Arab Army reportedly uncovered this weapons warehouse while they were combing through buildings that were previously used to base the rebel forces in Tafas.
