Tensions rise in the besieged Gaza Strip after Palestinian forces launched a mortar attack against Israeli targets outside the Strip.
Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas organization, released video footage showing the Israeli Raeem base under mortar attack.
According to the Palestinian group, a helicopter landed inside the base following the attack in order to evacuate the wounded soldiers.
Israel retaliated the attack by launching at least 25 airstrikes against targets for Hamas and Islamic Jihad inside Gaza Strip.
However, calm prevailed the Israel-Gaza borders after a ceasefire was implemented by mediation of Egypt.
An Israeli official warned the Palestinian resistance of 'stronger' airstrikes if more attacks are launched.
