Instagram got lots of interesting updates lately, yet the most recent one may not be to your liking.
Plenty of Instagram's updates caught on well with the public in the last couple of months. most of them have proven to be very useful, some gave a bonus experience to the platform, but others seem to just annoy you.
Recently a new function got introduced, a function thru which others can see the last time you where online, in a manner similar to Facebook. Your intimacy is steadily but surely disappearing from Instagram, as new similar updates come in. The notification for screenshots in conversations was already there and you probably missed it.
Now tough, these notifications will go further and will affect the popular Stories. Maybe, lots of your friends love these posts, and you can waste a lot of time trying to see what's new in others' lives. But from now on, you will have to just look, regardless how interesting the post is.
Instagram is still testing these notifications to story screenshots, but even so, if you take a screenshot when you are looking at someone's story, that person will be notified that you decided to keep a souvenir of his story. It will not be a normal notification, but in the list of those that saw the story, a specific icon will appear in the side of those that screenshotted the story.
Instagram will most likely announce the official implementation off this update, but to be sure, it's best to let go of screenshotting stories, after you probably gave up on taking conversation screenshots also.
