I saw this blatant occult mural recently while driving in Toronto, so decided to make a quick video on it. It reminded me a lot of the highly occult Denver Airport Mural, which is what made it stand so much. Anyways let me know your thoughts on this fucked up piece of street art that shows Toronto in ruins...
Recently I was driving a friend home, when we noticed a rather disturbing mural painted on the side of an overpass on Lawrence Avenue West in Toronto, Canada. At first, in the distance I wasn't sure what I was looking at, but after seeing it up close, and its blatant occult symbology, I truly was shocked to say the least. It reminded me a lot of the infamous Denver Airport Mural. To start this was not a small mural, it has to be over 100 feet long, covering an entire wall of an overpass bridge. The interesting part however is the occult imagery that is scattered throughout the mural, which range from more innocent occult symbols such as an owl and pyramids, all the way to more sinister aspects, such as a guy wearing a gas mask and hazmat suit, standing in front of Toronto, with the city behind him in absolute ruins.
Shortly after this creepy mural appeared, local residents of the area started complaining to various media outlets and the city of Toronto itself, saying that they were not at all comforted by the chilling images of their city in ruins being painted on a wall near their homes. The project was completed by 3 artists called the Essencia Art Collective as part of a local program that supports public murals, called StreetArt Toronto. When people started asking what the mural was designed to represent, they were told it was meant to inspire people to protect the planet by educating the population on the threats of global warming.
Now the community is arguing to get the mural covered up, and that by doing so, is not censorship. CP24 recently interviewed one of the artists involved in the creation of the mural to get her opinion on the matter, where she stated the following. “Whether people get it or not or whether they like it or not, when an image is changed – weather it’s in literature or visual arts – and it is no longer accessible to those who do want to see it, it does fall under censorship. It’s selective suppression.”

I am a Search Engine Optimization specialist, website designer/analyzer and amateur blogger by day, and a coffee drinking, weed smoking, crypto trading conspiracy theorist by night. I love things that get my brain pumping and am really into politics, economics, world events, conspiracy theories, and more recently cryptocurrencies, as well as TV/movies, travel and I am also a huge fan of comedy in general (as they can't make the world go to war if everyone is laughing). I am somewhat new to the crypto world and Steemit in general but recently decided to try to jump in with both feet and see what happens. So far I am loving the people and concepts that Steemit and the crypto world are creating for the future, and I feel honored to be part of its infancy. Anyways I guess that's about it, and remember let nothing hold you back... FULL STEEM AHEAD!
