Most previews were quite accurate
yesterday and I did manage to make some profit but it could have been so much more. The season is long and it's a real grind though so another day and more matches to analyze...
AA Gent vs Eupen
AA Gent played 3 matches so far this season and the one that will be played today at home against Eupen can best be compared to the first EL Qualif match which was won 6-3 against Viitorul. The match away against Charleroi which is always difficult ended in a 1-1 and they also did not really showed up in the reverse fixture against Viitorul because of the safe scoreline. I do expect a reaction today against Eupen who changed their entire playstyle again to going forward and scoring goals. Last week this failed miserably against Antwerp (1-4) who defensively were just too strong but I see it unlikely that they will make changes to their style just yet. They also lost goalkeeper Van Crombrugge to Anderlecht and showed to keep going forward regardless the score. I took the

Moeskroen vs Anderlecht
This will be by far the most interesting match of the day. There is one thing we can be quite sure about and that is that Anderlecht will again play really attacking taking many risks and not shooting any ball away when in danger. Especially in the first half last match they played with a really high pace and also good at times. If the 2-0 was not an offisde goal, the match could easily have ended in a 5-1 score and everyone would be wild about the new Anderlecht. Because they lost that match, everyone now looks at it as if they are going to lose everything playing this way. Kompany was really clear in his post match interview saying they will do exactly the same next match. While they still lack a real striker and Moeskroen also lost many goal, I just can't get past the over in this match especially for the frist half. I took bets during the week on

@costanzabets). The odds on Anderlecht went up quite som because of what happened last week went up and I had to take a shot on
Anderlecht -1 @ 3.29 . If anything, going high odds on or against Anderlecht will likely be the way to go early this season! I'm highly looking forward to this match.
Antwerp vs Waasland-Beveren
Antwerp looked really solid last week and they will probably be a profitable away team again this season especially against weaker teams. At home last season they did not manage to beat the asian handicap (3W-7L-5P) so I'm not exactly looking to jump on them today with a -1.5 line. I'm actually more leaning towards the other side. I do have a hard time to estimate Waasland though as the match last week against a strong Club Brugge can't really be seen as a reference. I will likely just see this match as a way to get a better read on both teams. Interesting statistic is that Waasland lost 1-14 in the corners while Antwerp won 3-10 in corners in week 1.
