Hi everyone!
Is it my pleasure to share some great news with you today. If you follow my daily Prague/Czech Republic Photo Challenge, you are certainly familiar with the Petrin and Zizkov lookout towers as those are some of the most popular tourist landmarks of the city.
However, just two days ago, Prague opened another lookout tower that might soon become just as popular.
Situated in the Cihadla forest park in Prague - Cerny Most, the new observation tower is called Doubravka and it was designed by the renowned Czech architect Martin Rajnis.

Consisting of three massive wooden legs and a vertical central axis, the tower is 20 m (65.6 ft) tall, offering great panoramic views of the surroundings. To get on the top, visitors have to climb up 98 steps. The tower is open every day, all year round, and the entrance is free.
Please feel free to check out some of my other recent posts.
