For some reason, you occasionally hear Cuba's healthcare system held up as a model for the U.S. Certain statistics are pointed to in order show how it is superior. One of these is the Infant Mortality Rate (IMR). However, it turns out Cuba's numbers are a load of crap. This, of course, should have been a surprise to exactly no one.
