I will not deny that I have watched a number of television shows and interviews that Oprah Winfrey has hosted and that I have found them to be entertaining in the past. I will also admit that I have found many of the topics that she covers to be interesting.
Nonetheless, the recurring problem that I have had with Ms. Winfrey is that she is one of those diehard child advocates who believe that, in figurative words, raising the statutory age of consent to 35 years old worldwide is going to turn our planet into some kind of utopia of age-appropriate perfection and wholesome purity. Fact has it that these political missions have done more bad than good to our society as Americans.
You may be someone who has never lived or traveled to the United States. If so, you probably are all in favor of protecting children. However, when you watch some of the stuff that Ms. Winfrey puts out there on the television airwaves and on the Internet, you have to question this woman's judgment and critical thinking or rather lack thereof; and you wonder where she gets most of her perceptions regarding child molestation and child sexual abuse.
Ms. Winfrey is not a hotheaded radical feminist like Rachel Oates on YouTube, but, at the same time, she subscribes to the flawed school of thought that there is no difference between a 7-year-old child and a 14-year-old minor. I completely get it that Ms. Winfrey fell prey to some horrendous sexual atrocities from the time that she was 9 years old to the time that she was 14 years old, and my heart goes out to her in that respect
Nevertheless, I have concerns about her integrity or rather lack thereof in handling this same subject matter upon her conducting interviews in relationship to it. She has an inclination to cater to the harmful biases that currently exist in the child advocacy movement.
1. Only One Actual Child Molester In Oprah Winfrey's Interview Group
Below is a video of Oprah Winfrey interviewing what she perceives to be four child molesters. Only one of them accurately fits the description of one. She doesn't do anything as rash as give credibility to fanatical self-proclaimed child advocates who believe that extraterrestrials are traveling from distant solar systems to the Earth to rape our children, but she comes close enough to it.
Oprah Winfrey Holds An Interview With Four Men Who Were Convicted Of Sexual Offenses Involving Minors
Now, I'm not going to make any of these four men out to look like goody-two-shoes, because they're far from being one. However, I'm not going to submit to Ms. Winfrey's fear-mongering tactics either. She absolutely loves bogus conspiracy theories about grooming, seduction, child trafficking, and the likes.
The names of the four men on the guest panel were Lee, Darren, David, and Robert. Dawn Horwitz-Person was their psychotherapist
Lee fits the profile of a typical child molester and sexual predator perfectly. Herein I'm not going to dispute that fact. Is he a pedophile? I'm not a psychiatrist, but I wouldn't rule out that possibility.
Darren, on the other hand, is an incest offender. I may not be any major fan of American statutory-rape laws, but no father should be having sex with his own biological daughter no matter how old she is. I don't care if she's 39 years old.
Darren is not really an example of a child molester but rather more of an example of why parental testamentary freedom should be abolished altogether here in the United States and throughout the world. It greatly bewilders me why Ms. Winfrey has not fought to reform the inheritance laws in this same regard. I guess there is no money in it for her.
If Darren is proud of his 12-year-old daughter for turning him in to the police, I would hope that he would have the decency not to cut her out of his will. After all, he turned her life upside down and treated her like a sex object instead of like a daughter.
I do get it that Darren raped two 14-year-old girls when he was younger. I question whether he was an adult or a minor when he did so.
With respect to David, I must give Ms. Winfrey credit where credit is due. Most self-proclaimed child advocates will insist that two kids about the same age can do no harm to each other. However, in the case of David, he was only 3 years older than his alleged victim when the said abuse started.
Child sexual predators can be the same age as their victims or close in age to them. Of course, Ms. Winfrey is setting herself up for backlash from mainstream child advocates whenever she acknowledges this same fact. At the same time, David still falls short of being a child molester in so many ways. In my humble opinion, he was a domineering kid whose parents supervised poorly
Robert's story is not very clear. I saw the movies Hound Dog and Things Behind The Sun, and the rape scenes in them were horrendous. In the movie titled Hound Dog, it really horrified me when this 18-year-old man brutally raped the 12-year-old protagonist named Llewellyn after he and his friends tricked her into stripping naked. If what Robert did to his victims was anything like that, then he deserves all the shame and humiliation in the world.
If the underage girls that Robert had sexual encounters with were all willing participants, then he shouldn't even have been interviewing with Ms. Winfrey in the first place. Let's stop pretending that adolescent girls are 5 years old.
At the outset of his sexual encounters with his alleged "victims," Robert makes it sound as though these girls wanted it equally as much as he did. If this is merely another political campaign on Ms. Winfrey's part to push American statutory-rape laws so that she can wage her war on sex, then I have this one pressing question. Why is the late Aubreigh Wyatt's rapist walking the streets scot-free?
A 12- or 13-year-old boy forcibly raped the late Ms. Wyatt when she was only 12 years of age, and it drove her to suicide. Why should his being the same age as her have given him a get-out-of-jail-free card? There was a police investigation into it, and yet the authorities did not even arrest him.
Robert served 44 months behind bars for doing something that might not even have involved force or coercion, whereas the police treated the late Ms. Wyatt's rapist's atrocities with impunity. Somehow that doesn't sit very well with me. If you need information on the situation involving the late Ms. Wyatt, watch the video below.
The Late Aubreigh Wyatt Suffered Atrocities At The Hands Of Bullies And An Underage Rapist
I have to question whether Ms. Winfrey has ever done a television show about the tragedy behind the late Aubreigh Wyatt. I wouldn't be surprised if she hasn't, because she would never be one to care about a 12-year-old rape victim if that girl's assailant was the same age as her. Ms. Winfrey prefers the sensationalism of sex scandals involving an adult and a teenage minor.
2. Oprah Winfrey's Misleading Points About Child Molesters
Some of Oprah Winfrey's talking points in her above interview leave so very much to be desired. For example, she made it a point that if an adult man is spending more time with children than with the adults at a party, then he must be a child molester.
Did it ever occur to Ms. Winfrey that perhaps such a man is a family man who wishes to get married and start a family? A man used to live across the street from me, and he played kickball and baseball with his 9-year-old daughter and her friends.
If an adult man is hanging around teenage girls instead of the adults at a party, then so what? He's not going to be interested in making small talk with a middle-aged married woman.
Darren made it a point that if you're an adult who is romancing fantasies about your daughter or other people who are off limits to you, then you need to go get professional help. The problem with his logic is that if someone does get professional help under those same circumstances and their fantasies involve a minor, the mental-health professional is going to go squealing on him or her to the police even in a situation in which no crime was committed.
The mandatory reporting laws here in the United States do not make our nation an ideal place for that same purpose. Nobody has any friends in the psychiatric profession or anywhere in the mental-health profession at this point in time.
The problem I'm having with Ms. Winfrey's point about grooming is that, like Rachel Oates, she doesn't appear to believe that there is any exception to the so-called rule that she cites when the alleged "victim" is an adolescent rather than a small child under 11 years of age. My response is that there are exceptions to every rule, even those that are written in stone.
Toward the end of the above-described interview, Ms. Winfrey asked Robert if she were to put him in a room full of gorgeous 14-year-old girls, would he be a danger to them. He replied no. They'd probably be a danger to him.
3. The Hypocrisy Of Oprah Winfrey
Oprah Winfrey has no moral high ground to be speculating about what makes a child molester or a sexual predator. She can run her mouth and repeat the details of her sob story from her younger days when she was allegedly raped and sexually abused. However, her hypocrisy cannot hide behind the fact that she is quite friendly with convicted rapist Harvey Weinstein. Watch the video below for details about it.
Oprah Winfrey's Betrayal Against Rape And Sexual Abuse Victims In The Form Of Harvey Weinstein
Ladies and gentlemen? Ms. Winfrey does not care about small children and teenagers throughout our nation. She only wishes to make an easy buck off the topic of sexual abuse.
Other TV personalities like John Walsh, Chris Hansen, and Corey Feldman are no different from Ms. Winfrey in that respect. They have also engaged in hypocritical conduct that reveals that they are no more child advocates than Joel Steinberg is. They don't practice what they preach. Ms. Winfrey is as fake as a three-dollar bill.
At the end of the day, people like Ms. Winfrey seek to get elected officials to pass tougher statutory-rape laws and then they weaponize illegal teenage sex cases for financial gain. She and others like her are waging a for-profit war on sex. Norman Michael Achin explains it all in his video below.
Norman Michael Achin Describes The Neuroticism Behind The War On Sex
Mr. Achin looks at the entire broad picture instead of trying to mislead his viewing audience as Ms. Winfrey and Rachel Oates do. Unfortunately, open-minded people have become an endangered species here in the United States.
4. The Injustice Of American Sex Laws
I'm equally as much in favor of laws that protect children as the next person is. However, I cannot wrap my head around sex laws that treat teenage sex as though it is child molestation and pedophilia. Even in cases of cross-generational teenage sex, there can be no one-size-fits-all formula to describe the scenario; and the description doesn't necessarily have to be something detrimental.
Below is a video of a speech that Galen Baughman delivered to his audience about how the sex laws in the United States have done more harm than good to our society. He himself experienced that same fact firsthand.
Galen Baughman Exposes The Dirty Truth About American Sex Laws
Now, after reading the comments section to this same video on YouTube, I did come across some allegations that Mr. Baughman had a less-than-perfect past involving minors beforehand and afterwards. Whether such allegations are true or not remains to be seen.
Nevertheless, nobody can deny the fact that Mr. Baughman did his research. The comments that the trolls posted in the comments section to his video mean nothing to me. These semi-illiterate idiots can't even get the definition of pedophilia right. So, why should anyone put any stock in anything they post? They're usually not a good judge of people's character.
YouTuber posted in the comments section to this video the following:
This degenerate only gave part of the story...There wasn't just one "quirky" freshman, there were at least three different young boys he victimized ranging from 9-14 years old...Baughman was soon arrested for attempting to lure a 16 year old kid from Minnesota to Virginia...
I searched the Internet for this same story that YouTuber posted, and I found nothing. Therefore, YouTuber
has to be making this story up. He's merely another social-justice warrior riding high on his moral high horse insofar as he couldn't care less about the facts.
Moreover, if we were to assume for the sake of argument and only for the sake of argument that YouTuber was telling the truth in his post above, there is another point we must consider. If he and other social-justice warriors are attacking Mr. Baughman for sexually molesting a 9-year-old child, it makes absolutely no sense that social-justice warriors like them have sympathized with child molesters like the late Joseph Rosenbaum after Kyle Rittenhouse shot him dead in self-defense.
The late Mr. Rosenbaum sexually molested a 9-year-old child back when he was 19 years old. I am equally as disgusted as most of you are about that fact. However, I cannot understand why anyone would have wanted to throw him a pity party after Mr. Rittenhouse shot him dead in self-defense. Somehow social-justice warriors find it easy to single Mr. Baughman out for something that may not even be true.
As for Mr. Baughman's confirmed sexual intercourse with a 14-year-old minor, some of you may argue that someone that young cannot consent. However, they do consent, and they don't care what society or the law have to say about it. Read the comments section of Paul Wentzel's article titled "USA TODAY rejects prisoner’s letter because he’s a sex offender," and you'll find a whole host of individuals who claimed that cross-generational sexual experiences during their high-school years didn't harm them.
In my humble opinion, Mr. Baughman is not someone who would attend a pedophile pride parade in New York City, if there were such a thing. Unless someone can provide me with a link to an authenticated police record or police report on the Internet showing that Mr. Baughman actually molested a 9-year-old boy, I will remain skeptical to any accusations of child molestation against him.
The story that YouTuber provided about Mr. Baughman "luring" a 16-year-old minor from Minnesota back when he was 19 years old is somewhat suspicious. If Mr. Baughman and the minor were only three years apart in age difference at the time, why would anyone care?
5. Final Thoughts
My fellow Americans? Let's stop placing a blind faith in everything that celebrities and TV personalities like Oprah Winfrey say about child molestation and pedophilia. Our society is brainwashed enough without hearing any of their propaganda.
Our sex laws are upside down because of people like Ms. Winfrey who have expended inordinate amounts of money to make them worse than they are. We can all do our part by refusing to watch anything on television or on the Internet by these people.
Our sex laws reek of hypocrisy among the very people who proclaim to be on a mission to save all the children and teenagers of the world. Norman Michael Achin supports these facts in his video below.
Norman Michael Achin Describes An Article About A Cop Who Accosted A 10-Year-Old Girl Online
It's like having the foxhound guard the henhouse. These people fight for tougher sex laws, but they don't want to abide by them themselves. The United States has become a cesspool of hypocrisy and double standards.
