I was reading over an article by a Hiver named larkenrose that he published on the Steemit writing platform back in the day when most everyone here on the Hive blockchain was posting articles on the Steem blockchain. His article was titled "Age of Consent," and it was broken down into three different parts.
Lakenrose's article was about how American society obsesses over its statutory-rape laws insofar as certain people have difficulty differentiating fake pedophilia from real pedophilia. His article was well-crafted.
Recently I have attempted to branch out in the kinds of topics that I publish about here on my PeakD channel. However, somehow I keep coming back to this same topic regarding the sex laws in our nation, because I come across too many people that see this same topic with tunnel vision.
After all these years, you would think that has-been, washed-up journalist Chris Hansen would hang up his hat. Unfortunately, he has delved into another one of his notorious shenanigans, and you have to know that it's all about the money with him despite that he doesn't seem to have much of it lately now that he's been off of the National Broadcasting Company's payroll for a substantial period of time.
1. Florida Police Force Gone Hollywood
Recently Chris Hansen has teamed up with the Martin County Sheriff's Office down in Florida to organize online sex-sting operations. He apparently is making another one of his useless attempts to catch lightning in a bottle a second time around after his "To Catch A Predator" series was cancelled so many years ago.
Chris Hansen Gives A Speech At A Press Conference With The Martin County Sheriff's Office
In the delivery of his speech above, Mr. Hansen makes the stupid mistake of bringing attention to an online sex-sting operation in which a 19-year-old man came to meet up with a 14-year-old girl. Oh, wow! In most European nations, such an incident would be perfectly legal. In Canada, it would be legal if the 19-year-old man was even one day shy of being five years older than the 14-year-old girl. Of course, like in all other online sex-sting operations, the 14-year-old girl did not even exist.
Mr. Hansen? If you're reading my article, why don't you do this? Why don't you humiliate deadbeat teenage fathers under 18 years of age in your stings instead? Right. You could likely get sued for it, because they're underage and someone would accuse you of being politically incorrect for doing so.
Okay, Mr. Hansen? Why don't you shame judges for sending minors as young as 12 years old to serve time in adult prisons? Oh, wait a minute. You're afraid to get on the court system's bad side inasmuch as it would not be the first time that you have done so.
What Mr. Hansen has been doing all these years is clearly entrapment. No minor has gotten saved because of his actions. He's trying to fool the world into believing that he is serving the greater good, when nothing could be any further from the truth. As Norman Michael Achin indicated in his video above, Mr. Hansen is a sensationalist rather than any kind of hero.
One of Mr. Hansen's former decoys even expressed regrets for having ever helped him ruin men's lives who weren't really sexual predators on the "To Catch A Predator" series. She admitted that she would have told many of these men believed to be suspects in online sex-sting operations to go home to get away from all the madness that was awaiting them inside the sting house.
Now, let's all ask ourselves this one question. What would the police officials of the Martin County Sheriff's Office and Mr. Hansen do if they were to stumble across a video on the Internet like the one below?
Teenage Girls Flaunt Off Their Genetic Gifts While Modeling Clothing In A Video Shoot
If you're intelligent, then you probably guessed the answer to my question above. The police and Mr. Hansen would likely do nothing about it, because there would be nothing legal they could do about it. The young girls in the video above are fully clothed.
Nonetheless, I wouldn't doubt that these same police officers and Mr. Hansen have gotten their rocks off in watching videos like the one above. They're not fooling anyone except themselves.
Also, if one of the police officers or Mr. Hansen saw one of these young beauties from the video above in public, what might happen is that they would likely walk up to her and engage in suggestive conversation with her. Because if they were to do so, chances are that they would be in an adult nightclub and whichever one of these girls they approached would have convincingly real-looking fake I.D. to fool them into believing that she was above the statutory age of consent.
One of these police officers or Mr. Hansen would not find out such a girl's true age until after they had sex with her, because probably the young girl's parents would catch them red-handed. Then once that young girl's parents reported them to the authorities, their lives would be over as they know it. Of course, they're never going to admit to the possibility of such a scenario, because as far as they are concerned, they are holier than thou. In any event, this is the nation that we live in, most unfortunately.
2. Once A Domestic Terrorist Always A Domestic Terrorist
In previous articles of mine here on my PeakD channel, I have denounced most online vigilantes and "predator" catchers as being domestic terrorists; and I stand by my position on this matter. An online vigilante named "Ghost" from the C.C. Unit attempted to railroad Norman Michael Achin for a sex crime that he never committed, and, to add insult to injury, "Ghost" tried to extort money out of him.
The real name of "Ghost" is Zaid Gitesatani. In his video below, Mr. Achin provides the proof in the pudding that Mr. Gitesatani is a domestic terrorist.
Norman Michael Achin Reports That Federal Officers Have Arrested Zaid Gitesatani For A Hate Crime
I may not be a big fan of Israel. In fact, I would prefer that our Federal government stop dumping money into that nation's aimless wars and start expending that money on helping the homeless get themselves back on their feet here in the United States. Of course, my political viewpoints about Jewish people are neither here nor there.
The irony here is that domestic terrorists like Mr. Gitesatani and others like him will laugh and joke about how the Federal Bureau of Investigation ("FBI") will investigate any adult man who expresses a non-Platonic interest in teenage girls on social media or elsewhere on the Internet, and here the FBI has arrested and charged Mr. Gitesatani himself with a hate crime for assaulting a Jewish man. Mr. Gitesatani could also get up to 10 years in Federal prison for it.
Wouldn't it be interesting if Mr. Gitesatani was found guilty of the charges against him and had to serve time in a Federal penitentiary for it? He would be meeting a similar fate as Riley Carter did not too long ago. While he was serving time behind bars, he would probably come face to face with a number of men that he has railroaded and entrapped. Perhaps it would bring an end to the era of online sex-sting operations and online vigilantism.
3. Final Thoughts
Ladies and gentlemen? Most "predator" catchers and online vigilantes are not good people. They are self-styled, self-serving, and very dangerous insofar as they are clearly domestic terrorists.
Chris Hansen insists that he does not condone the activities of these independent "predator" catchers and online vigilantes, but he is not much different from them. The only real difference between him and them is that he's not into extortion and bodily harm.
The fairness and societal integrity of our nation's statutory-rape laws are highly questionable. If we urge our elected officials to downgrade the violation of statutory-rape laws pertaining to teenage minors from a strict-liability offense to an intent offense that would require the prosecution to prove that a teenage minor has actually been harmed, all of these online sex-sting operations would go away. And they should go away, because they're doing more harm than good to our nation.
