If you read my article titled "Pedophile-Panic Derangement Syndrome Is Everywhere In The United States," then you know that news media journalists and hotheaded Missourians are branding a woman a child sex offender merely for having a consensual relationship with a teenage boy back when she was barely in her twenties. There have also unfairly been concerted efforts to sabotage this woman's hard work in setting up an event that children can enjoy.
Well, now a Missouri lawmaker is pushing to get a bill passed that would impose even more draconian restrictions against people on the sex-offender registry than the current laws have already done. The video below gives you all the details.

Shoana Marie White is not even a pedophile, and yet she is wrongfully getting treated like one. It is more likely than not that her sexual involvement with a teenage boy back in 1999 was consensual.
Ms. White wasn't even going to attend the babysitting kids party that she organized last month. This is how hysterical the American people have become because of misleading and mendacious pedophile-panic propaganda from the press and the media. Channel 4 Fox News is guilty of being a form of tabloid media.
Now, as I have stressed in my previous article about this situation, I have no problem whatsoever with anyone trying to prevent Jennifer Lynne Dix from coming in contact with prepubescent children. After all, she did sexually molest a 9-year-old girl back when she was in her mid-thirties, and that fact alone would likely make her a danger to small children.
Ms. White, on the other hand, didn't force anyone into doing anything they didn't want to do. A 13-year-old boy decided to have sexual intercourse with her when she was barely in her twenties. He has likely moved on with his life at this point in time. He would be in his forties by now. He's probably married and has kids. He likely never thinks about Ms. White unless someone has contacted him about this recent situation.

Let me stress that the terms "TAP" ("Teenage-Attracted Person) and "TAPs" (Teenage-Attracted Persons) don't even exist in daily English-language usage and have never been coined, because such people want nothing to do with pedophiles; and they don't want to hang out with pedophiles either. Teenage sex is not child molestation.
If an adult falls in love with a teenager, marries that teenager later on, starts a family with that teenager, and lives happily ever after with that teenager, it is probable that he or she will grow out of their attraction to teenagers in general. If he or she doesn't do so, then so what? It doesn't mean that he or she is going to sexually assault their own teenage offspring. Many of them remain happily married and never cheat on their spouses with anyone of any age.
If a real pedophile, on the other hand, sexually molests a 7-year-old child, the authorities can lock him up and make him serve 50 years behind bars. However, after that pedophile gets out of prison, he is still going to be that person that he was who molested a little child.
Let's stop pretending that whenever a teenager in middle school or high school gets involved in a cross-generational relationship with an adult, it's the same thing as a child molester kidnapping, raping, and murdering a 5-year-old girl. It is not.

I agree with YouTuber @rosameryrojas-delcerro1059. The news media only looks to sensationalize stories like these to jack up their ratings, and getting a lawmaker on camera is one of the tactics they use to do so.
Ms. White is not really a chomo, because she never pursued a sexual encounter with a prepubescent child. She never molested anyone. Teenage sex doesn't count as child sexual abuse, even when it's cross-generational in nature.
3. The Futility Of American Statutory-Rape Laws
When my first cousin once removed, who's not much younger than me, was 15 years old, she and her mother had moved from Illinois to the Commonwealth of Virginia. Shortly after she first moved there, she met a sailor from the Navy. It was apparent that he was probably older than her, but it never bothered me one way or the other. It was her life and her choice.
My first cousin once removed and I both knew all about statutory-rape laws back then, but we never really thought that it would have applied to this particular situation with her. She never mentioned to me whether or not she had sexual intercourse with him. I knew that she was sexually active. Her mother had no issue with it or with the sailor.
Back then it didn't seem that as many men were being arrested for statutory rape. Nowadays you can't turn the television set on or your computer on without seeing something about it. It was common for military men to have underage girlfriends back when my first cousin once removed was 15, but nowadays these men are being watched.
There is a video of a news clip regarding a 21-year-old sailor that brought a 15-year-old runaway to Naval Base San Diego to have sex with her. The news media and the local community are up in arms about it in San Diego, California. The girl's mother isn't very happy about it either.
Apparently, ignorance of age is a defense in any kind of carnal-knowledge case involving a teenage minor on U.S. military bases. The sailor had everything in his favor. The statutory age of consent on every U.S. military base is 16 years old regardless of whether that military base is located in a state jurisdiction where the statutory age of consent is 17 or 18 years old. The underage girl lied to him about how old she was.
I admire the young girl's mother for defending her 15-year-old daughter's honor. My heart goes out to her in that her daughter got tied up with a pimp in a prostitution ring.
Nonetheless, the standards for a soldier in the U.S. military to be court-martialed for violating the statutory-age-of-consent laws are much different from those of regular state jurisdiction throughout the United States. The U.S. military has a difficult enough time combating forcible rape as it is. If a 14- or 15-year-old girl gives herself up to an adult soldier on a silver platter, the probability that he will be punished for it severely is very remote.
The fact alone that prosecutors want to brand these soldiers with a conviction for "Sexual Assault And Rape Of A Child" is definitely a turn-off to the higher-ups in the military. It takes a situation in which a teenage girl willingly goes to bed with a soldier and misrepresents it as though he was involved in some kind of child-trafficking ring.
This young girl is now 18 years old and is attending college. She has moved on with her life, and it's not as though she really suffered any harm from her sexual experience with this man who is only 6 years her senior.
Look at it this way. If this young girl had gone onto a military base to have sex with a colonel's 16-year-old son and became pregnant from it, this story would not have even made the local news. What really makes it so different in this event?
Now, I haven't forgotten the news story about three Marines that raped a 12-year-old girl over in Japan. However, that was a case in which they used force and violence against that girl. The girl was a virgin when they did it to her. These three same Marines deserved to be punished for what they did. In the above-described video, both teenage girls were willing participants.
The fact of the matter is that as long as there are teenagers having sex with one another, there are going to be teenagers that have sex with older partners. It doesn't matter how young these teenagers are. They're going to do it.

4. Final Thoughts
Looking at Missouri State Representative Mike Steinmeyer who is proposing tougher sex laws in his state as described further back herein, you can tell that he is an out-of-touch baby boomer who is completely clueless about the realities of teenage sex. He certainly doesn't look young enough to be from Generation X. He is ignorant enough to believe that teenage sex is child molestation.
Now, I'm not claiming that highly intelligent baby boomers don't exist. There are many of them. However, Mr Steinmeyer is not one of them.
The fact alone that Mr. Steinmeyer is a graduate from Oral Roberts University explains everything. His kind refuse to believe that serious reforms need to be made to American statutory-rape laws, and I don't mean for lawmakers to raise the statutory age of consent to 25 or 35 years old nationwide. He should never have been voted into office.
