1. Introduction
Today is the first day of 2026, and I still cannot stop myself from getting on my computer and typing up an article about controversial topics like the one I'm presenting herein. This one is going to be a hot topic.
If you follow my PEAKD channel regularly, you then know who Norman Michael Achin is. If you don't do so and this is your first time reading one of my articles, then allow me to introduce you to him.
Mr. Achin is a gentleman whom the Fairfax County Police Department railroaded in an online sex-sting operation in the Commonwealth of Virginia for a sex crime that he never committed. He currently has a YouTube channel named "I.C.A.C. Unpacked" that exposes all of the corruption connected with online sex-sting operations and the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (I.C.A.C.), which is really a teenage-pregnancy-prevention campaign at best.
If you haven't seen one of his videos, watch the one below. In that video, he talks about when it's not all right to be a stool pigeon.
Norman Michael Achin Explains How Snitches Viciously Target People On The Sex-Offender Registry
Mr. Achin has posted a number of videos of this nature on his YouTube channel to educate the public on how corrupt police forces across our nation have become. His videos are highly educational.
2. A Forum Of Mostly Hate Against Norman Michael Achin
Recently I stumbled across this one website named Fairfax Underground that contains an open forum about Norman Michael Achin. It turned out to be another echo chamber of social-justice warriors who believe that one is guilty until proven innocent for an accusation of a sexual offense. Therefore, I simply had to provide my response to these idiots' ad hominem remarks about Mr. Achin.
The open forum was called "Is this the end of notorious RSO Norm Achin?" From reading the title, I probably should have figured that it was going to be a series of intellectually bankrupt comments.
The first person who posted therein goes by the user name of Flibbitty Jibbit. He or she merely described a recent incident in which the police forced their way into Mr. Achin's residence and nearly ransacked the place for no real legitimate reason. It appears that this man or woman has a grudge against Mr. Achin, when he or she probably has never met him.
According to this same person's post, the police had walked off with some of Mr. Achin's personal property. The police have not returned his personal property to him to this very day.
Someone who goes by the user name of "He's guilty af" posted:
Last video I saw from that little fruit he was crying that he still hadn't gotten his computers back after 10 weeks. LOL. Apparently he can't afford a lawyer to tell him how bad that is. It's very, very, very bad for him. He's probably heading back to prison very soon. At least it'll be easy for him to get buttsex there!
Mr. Achin has never openly announced in any of his YouTube videos that he is gay. He was once married to a Hispanic woman, and he has a daughter that he mentions now and then in his YouTube videos.
If Mr. Achin was on Grindr, then it is possible that he is bisexual. Even if he is so, my response to it is, "So what?" The elephant in the room here is that the user named "He's guilty af" is not only homophobic, but he or she supports an oppressive criminal justice system.
User "He's guilty af"? Don't you realize that people of limited financial means are railroaded in the American court system all the time? I wonder how you would like for some thug to sodomize you. It's because of idiots like you that state jurisdictions across the nation need the death penalty for prison rape.
Another person who goes by the user name of "Dont F--- Kids" posted:
This creepy pervert is going to go to jail for a long long time. Don't tolerate pedos in this state.
User "Dont F--- Kids"? If you watched all of Mr. Achin's videos, you would see that the authorities tampered with evidence to make him look guilty when he was really innocent. Moreover, if you can't even get the definition of "pedophile" right, then you apparently are not a very good judge of character. Mr. Achin has never been cited for any sexual offense involving a prepubescent child under the age of eleven. You probably watch videos like the one below.
A Teenage Schoolgirl Dances On Camera In A Provocatively Flirtatious Manner
Watching such a video doesn't make you a bad person, user "Dont F--- Kids," but it does make you a hypocrite. Then again, most social-justice warriors like you are hypocrites. So what else is new?
A person who goes by the user name of "Ipso Ergo" posted:
From world's most annoying Latin teacher to world's most annoying pedo in like just a couple of years. F----- hate this guy.
Ipso Ergo? At best what you stated is defamation of character. He was not convicted of pursuing sexual relations with a prepubescent child. If you hate Mr. Achin so much, then why do you even watch his videos? You could find more constructive things to do than to participate in a smear campaign against Mr. Achin. You probably posted your comment on the above-described forum after watching the same video above that "Dont F--- Kids" likely did. You're merely another buffoon with no brains inside your head.
Just when I had thought that I could not have encountered any more echo chambers of this nature on this same above-described website, I came across another such open forum that was named "Another teacher proven to be a diaper sniper." This entire forum was not about Mr. Achin, but it did make enough mentions about him to warrant a response.
A person on that forum who goes by the user name of "More like boys butt packed" posted:
That Achin guy makes zero sense. All he does is whine about how awful police stings are, ignoring the fact that if you don't want to fuck a kid to begin with there's no possible way to entrap you. And he's super selective with the evidence he presents. You really don't need anything other than this document:
https://www.supremecourt.gov/DocketPDF/21/21-5487/188584/20210910110526814_Achin%20Appendix.pdf
Page 3, "In the messages, Bauer indicated that he was located in Fairfax and was not yet fifteen years old. The exchange of messages between appellant and "AlexVa" continued, and appellant pressured "Alex Va" to make contact by telephone. Appellant told "AlexVa" that he was "gorgeous" and "beautiful." In response to questions from "Alex Va" about what they might do together, appellant said "suck and maybe more" depending on the child's "comfort level." "
The guy is clearly a sick pedo.
User "More like boys butt packed" posted what was supposed to be a picture of Mr. Achin and then insulted his appearance. Then he stated:
I mean, come on, really?
User "More like boys butt packed"? You come on! Mr. Achin has clarified in his videos that a biased judge who ignored the law presided over his trial. Therefore, how can you even expect for the Virginia Court of Appeals' decision to be completely objective? They usually give deference to the trial judge, even when it's apparent that the trial judge conveniently ignored the rights of the defendant as what happened in Mr. Achin's case.
Detective Bauer and the other detective ("Detective Godell") fabricated things that Mr. Achin never said or did. They were merely seeking a conviction rather than pursuing justice. If you watched each and every video that Mr. Achin has posted on his YouTube channel, you'd understand that fact, user "More like boys butt packed."
Moreover, Mr. Achin's criminal case was not about pedophilia. There was no prepubescent victim involved in his communications on Grindr. There wasn't even a real human victim involved at all. Then again, if you can't even get the definition of pedophilia right, then nobody can expect you to get all the facts straight either. You're the actual definition of stupid.
I do agree with the person who goes by the user name "Well THERE'S your problem" regarding his point that trying to litigate an appeal in propria persona of a decision from a criminal court is a very dangerous path to go down. I don't agree entirely with his logic, but I would never recommend anyone to be their own lawyer in that event if there were a way for them to secure counsel. It could have been that Mr. Achin didn't have any other choice.
Mr. Achin is highly educated in a number of academic areas. However, the practice of law is an entirely different animal of its own, even for the most learned of laymen. A user who goes by the name of "get a lawyer kids" agreed with user "Well THERE'S your problem" that pro se litigation in the Supreme Court of the United States ("SCOTUS") is almost always an uphill battle.
A person who goes by the user name of TrollHunter2 did post:
what an asshole you are! Check out the U.S. Supreme Court Jacobson decision (1992) I believe. It's an entrapment case. That was also a feature, which you ignored.
Another friend who works for the government in the intelligence community told me that the arguments used here are EXACTLY what they are told apply to US citizens. Maybe you should view the US PROTECT Act of 2008 to understand a bit of why ICAC was working so hard to raise their stats. Money and public pressure.
Are you an attorney? You should know better either way. Courts are made up of judges who are people with their own prejudices which they then backfill with legal 'precedent' in order to justify it. A friend who clerks for a state supreme court appeals judge told me that.
So no. Just reading that case, and slicing into his pro se appearance (because you only get so much legal representation as you can afford), and to attack him for defending himself if cruel and shows you're a dick.
Then there's the fact that cops are hiding stats and not coming clean on them, erasing evidence, and worse. Get the facts before you type out some more stupid.
User "TrollHunter2" is one of the good guys. What the SCOTUS should have done after reading Mr. Achin's petition for writ of certiorari was appoint him an attorney so that such an attorney could have perfected his arguments in the brief. It would have only been the fair thing for them to do, because Mr. Achin obviously was unable to afford the kind of legal counsel he needed to succeed with this matter.
Of course, in the American judicial system, fairness is rarely ever granted to the little guy as what happened in Mr. Achin's case. After following his case and so many others like it, I've lost most of my faith in both the criminal justice system and the court system here in the United States.
Another person who goes by the user name of "TrollHunter Hunter" suggested that Mr. Achin could have gone to a legal aid for assistance with his petition for writ of certiorari brief. The problem is that legal aid attorneys are ill-equipped to handle SCOTUS matters.
Another person who goes by the user name of "BTFOer" posted:
Nice to see Trollcunter give up after being destroyed by logic and facts.
Put a sock in it, "BFTOer." What TrollHunter posted made every bit of sense. Mr. Achin not having an attorney to put such knowledge to use was what put a monkey wrench in his efforts to seek justice.
A person who goes by the user name of "Jeff Epstein's Girls" posted:
All this outrage over this case while the Epstein girls were f----- by your politicians and the crimes are still being covered up. And all you guys are liars if you say you never thought about f------ the sitter.
All right. I'm no fan of the late Jeffrey Epstein, and I do have to admit that the photograph that the above person posted below their comment was somewhat graphic. Nonetheless, what this one person stated about "the sitter" probably applies to every one of the above-described buffoons who belittled Mr. Achin in their posts. Of course, that excludes "TrollHunter" inasmuch as he or she actually showed critical thinking in their comment about Mr. Achin.
These idiots with the exception of "TrollHunter" are trolls at best. They're like the Harper Valley P.T.A. They remind me of the lyrics of the song below.
The Song Titled "Harper P.T.A." By Jeannie C. Riley
Mr. Achin's detractors in both above-described forums are a bunch of Harper Valley hypocrites for sure. They're nobody to get up on their moral high horses.
3. A Powerful Defense Mechanism In Criminal Court
A really excellent piece of advice that Ahmad Jamal Blakemore provides to his viewers on his YouTube channel is for any defendant not to sign a plea deal agreement without viewing discovery. Then he explains what discovery is in his video below.
Ahmad Jamal Blakemore Advises All Criminal Defendants To Look Before They Leap
Mr. Blakemore's advice is particularly important for anyone who is confronting sex-related charges involving a minor or minors, real or fabricated. Norman Michael Achin has talked about prosecutors intimidating defendants in sex cases involving minors, both real and imagined, into accepting very bad plea deals. Therefore, Mr. Blakemore's advice is universal in nature.
4. Final Thoughts
After I read Norman Michael Achin's most recent petition for writ of certiorari to the SCOTUS, I had two major concerns about his case. First of all, I noticed that there were major holes in the prosecution's case against him, and, for that reason, I feel that there was enough reasonable doubt in the prosecution's case against him for him to be acquitted of the sex-related computer solicitation charge against him.
My second concern about Mr. Achin's case was that he waived a jury trial. If he had chosen a jury trial instead of a bench trial, I believe that he would have had a much greater chance of being acquitted. I don't understand why his criminal defense lawyer didn't encourage him to select a jury trial instead.
I can appreciate the argument that one can never understand how easy it is to make the wrong decision about a criminal defense for sexually-based offenses unless that same person is confronting criminal charges of that nature. It's concerning that Mr. Achin has exhausted all of his options to overturn the conviction against him.
There seem to have been a number of alternate roads that Mr. Achin could have gone down to make the criminal charges against him go south. Unfortunately, too many elements of his criminal defense fell through the cracks of the system for him to have a halfway decent chance of beating his conviction at this point in time. It is all so unfair.
