You may or may not have seen the 1971 film titled Billy Jack. There's an Earthshattering scene at the beginning of the film when Billy Jack says, "When policemen break the law, then there isn't any law. Just a fight for survival." If you haven't seen that movie, below is that exact same clip from it.
An Important And Compelling Scene From The Movie Titled "Billy Jack"
Well, I'm going to provide you herein with a good example in that same regard. Three to four years ago New Mexico authorities arrested a sheriff's deputy for crimes related to his possession of illegal pornography. This law-enforcement official's name was Robert Strand. Below is a video clip of his arrest and interrogation.
Robert Strand's Downfall As A Cop Shows The Hypocrisy Of People Inside The American Criminal Justice System
Mr. Strand got caught for being in possession of sexually explicit photographs of minors between 1 months old to 13 years old on his cell phone. Therefore, his involvement as a consumer with illegal pornography was not solely a Lolita thing but also involved prepubescent children as well.
The video above also reported that Mr. Strand possessed a sexually explicit computer-generated image of a preteenage girl. I don't particularly care about computer-generated images of anyone of any age on the Internet, because they're not real people. However, Mr. Strand should still get prosecuted for possessing one, because, after all, these cops are always pushing lawmakers to get tougher sex laws pertaining to minors here in the United States than the ones that are already on the law books.
Here we have an officer of the law in his late thirties who obviously believes that he is above the law, even though he has probably benefitted professionally from all of these sex laws pertaining to minors for which he got prosecuted. It's incredible how these cops will go to state legislatures in an effort to convince them to get tougher sex laws pertaining to minors, especially teenagers, than there are, but they'll never hesitate to break those same laws themselves.
If there were a 67-year-old woman whose husband was 81 years old, and Mr. Strand had found out that she had gotten married to her husband at 14 years old and that she and her husband had consummated their love one day before their honeymoon, you better believe that Mr. Strand would have been pounding on her front door with a warrant for her husband's arrest. That's assuming that New Mexico has no statute of limitations for statutory rape and that the statutory age of consent there has never been 14 years old.
Let's not forget that police officers have been known for tunneling into innocent civilians' computers and implanting illegal pornography on them merely so that they can arrest these people. Nope! I will not be defending Mr. Strand. He made his own bed. Now he has to sleep in it.
Notice that in the video above, the faces of several law-enforcement officials were blurred out. Of course, they were blurred out, because those law-enforcement officials probably don't want other cops to know their identities in that they breached the proverbial blue wall of silence. They don't want other police officers harassing them.
The officers of the law treat Mr. Strand like a long-lost relative during his arrest and interrogation, which is something that they would never do with a suspect if he were not a cop. I wouldn't doubt that the Internal Affairs Division compelled them to indict Mr. Strand.
One of the detectives that interview Mr. Strand during his interrogation advises him that his place of employment will not appear on any of the search warrants issued to search his property and residence. They didn't want any other police officers they bring into the investigation to have any sort of reluctance to gather evidence against him.
I find it hilarious that someone from the Internet Crimes Against Children ("I.C.A.C.") task force actually interviewed Mr. Strand during his interrogation. I wouldn't doubt that Mr. Strand himself has reaped some of the benefits of the money that gets dumped into the I.C.A.C. program. Well, now it's his turn to know what it feels like to be on the wrong side of the law.
Should Mr. Strand be prosecuted for his possession of sexually explicit images of teenage minors? Of course, he should. I may not be any fan of American statutory-rape laws. However, if there had been a bill pending review in the New Mexico state legislature to raise that state's statutory age of consent to 25 years old during Mr. Strand's police career, you better believe he would have showed up at the hearings to support such a bill's passage.
American cops absolutely love the tyranny and unfairness that go along with harsh sex laws pertaining to minors; but when they themselves get a bitter taste of them, they learn quickly that these laws are not so high and holy. It's the biggest double standard that exists in the American criminal justice system.
Is Mr. Strand a pedophile? The fact that he was getting his rocks off with images and pictures of prepubescent children under 11 years old might suggest so. Of course, a mental-health professional would be the only one who could actually make that determination. If people accuse Mr. Strand of being a pedophile, I won't be giving him any pity parties.
Mr. Strand is every definition of a dumb cop. Ironically, he bears a strong resemblance to Steve Wilkos.
Mr. Strand chose not to have a lawyer present with him during his interrogation. He acted very casual throughout the entire interview. He thinks he's a big shot, but he isn't. He makes me want to throw up and scream from the top of my lungs.
During his interrogation, Mr. Strand has the audacity to claim that he had a slide in his backyard inasmuch as he left it there for the dogs. Give me a break. Dogs do not play on slides. Duhhh!!!
Fortunately, Mr. Strand did receive prison time for his crimes. Once he got to prison, there were likely men there whom he had railroaded during his career as a cop. They probably fought with the proverbial wood-chipper enthusiasts over who was going to get to beat the crap out of him. LOL!
Ladies and gentlemen? Corruption is running rampant everywhere in the American criminal justice system. Most of these cops do not care about our safety. They merely wish to rack up arrests and convictions so that they can acquire additional money from elected officials, and they're there to serve the rich and the powerful rather than to protect regular civilians like you and me.
This is the reason why we need to exercise critical thinking whenever we learn about anything from the press and the media. Now and then there will be cops who get their hands caught in the cookie jar, and we all need to raise public awareness about it. Don't anybody tell me that we don't live in a Fascist totalitarian police state.
