You may notice that whenever you go on YouTube or on any social-media platform that is similar to it and it shows someone being arrested for a sexual offense involving a minor, the comments section to that video becomes inundated with posts from wood-chipper enthusiasts. It doesn't matter how close the accused and his or her alleged victim are in age difference and whether the alleged victim is a teenager who is sexually active on their own volition.
You don't know what a wood-chipper enthusiast is? The answer to that question is quite plain and simple. It's usually a troll that will post a comment that someone who has been arrested for "statutory rape" or the likes should be put through a wood chipper regardless of how frivolous and malicious the sex-related charge against that person is.
These wood-chipper enthusiasts cannot be reasoned with. They cannot be enlightened about anything. They have already made up their minds that someone is guilty until proven guilty.
Now, many of you might get a good laugh out of reading the comments that these wood-chipper enthusiasts post online. You ask me, "What is so harmful about a troll?" Not all online trolls are violent and dangerous. However, way too many of them are.
Norman Michael Achin is a gentleman whom the police railroaded in an online sex-sting operation. He has fought the criminal charges against him tooth and nail, and yet he was wrongfully convicted and forced to register as a sex offender despite that he isn't one.
Robert M. Bauer is a dirty cop that falsified evidence against Mr. Achin to get him convicted of a sex crime that he never committed. Mr. Bauer has been in trouble with the law previously for violating a woman's constitutional rights.

These trolls should be arrested for phoning Mr. Achin's employers in an effort to get him fired. He does have a right to an income regardless of how these trolls may feel about him.
I don't completely agree with Mr. Achin's viewpoints regarding Washington politics, but I do feel that he has a good head on his shoulders. If anyone can do anything to reform the sex laws in this nation, he can.
Mr. Achin has more conservative viewpoints about teenage sex than I do, and that's perfectly fine. We all have our own opinions about some of the most controversial topics, and that's what freedom of speech is all about.
I find it outrageous how law-enforcement officials use these online sex-sting operations to entrap people and arrest them on suspicion of intending to do something that would be completely legal for a high-school boy under the age of 18 to do. The reason that adult men gravitate toward teenage girls that are younger than 18 years of age is because many girls that age are either attractive or physically precocious or both. It has nothing to do with pedophilia. An honest psychiatrist will tell you that.

Therefore, these wood-chipper enthusiasts should be denied access to these sex-offender registries. The best way to do so is to do away with sex-offender registration altogether.
