I Mumbai, 5 persons have died due o the H1N1 influenza virus, while another 2 succumbed to leptospirosis. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation said that civic hospitals have registered 250 new cases of H1N1 in the last fortnight. Since January, 874 new cases of the avian flu have been recorded in the country, of which 672 are in Mumbai.
