The latest news going around the cryptosphere.
Bitcoin symbol is from Final Fantasy III
What if I told you that the game Final Fantasy III was years ahead of Bitcoin. Well a post from Reddit had made everyone aware.
Coincidence? Or Satoshi was one of the devs of this game? Or maybe the whole team was Satoshi? Hmmmmm....
People using fake money to buy cryptos
In Japan, a tally of 12 people have been arrested using fake fiat money to purchase cryptos. The men had offered to buy Bitcoin from a 40 year old male who agreed to sell it to them unknowingly receiving fake money. The victim then said that he only did it to avoid fees.
Is this guy for real? I don't know if they are strangers but selling 1.7M worth of Bitcoin requires a little trust. I would have happily paid the fees, rather than getting conned. Or worst, get dead.

Another founder ran away with investors money
In Germany, there is a great concern over the Savedroid token that was founded in 2015 by Yassin Hankir. Investors reported that the site is gone and only a picture of a Southpark meme "Aaaand. It's gone."
https://ico.savedroid.com/
If I was one of the investors I wouldn't be happy if I saw that. Even more if the founder had posted this in his Twitter. With "Thanks guys! Over and out ... #savedroidICO"

No one knows if this is just a stunt but I fear it is not. I don't see the point, if it was a joke, this will make investors leave the project. I fear it's for reals.

A possible reason why we are in the green
In December a Muslim cleric have declared that owning Bitcoin is compatible with Islam finance. But a whole lot disagreed.
Fast forward to April, a research was published that bitcoin does qualify as islamic money. It's alright to use it unless the government have made it illegal to do so.
We might be seeing a whole lot of greens in the coming days due to more investors from the Islamic community.
